Launching of the 1st edition of the NutriAwards!
Launched by NutrEvent, the “NutriAwards” reward for the first time in 2011 the best innovative projects of the sector of Nutrition and Health with the support of Seventure Parners Life Sciences. The NutriAwards are open to companies & academics located in Europe and operating mainly in the Nutrition and Health markets.
The NutriAwards will reward the best projects thanks to three Prizes:
I. The « Start-up Award » in the field of Nutrition and Health
This category is open to all European companies operating in the field of Nutrition and Health with an innovative product, process or service and aiming at the creation of a new business (or recently created for less than one year).
II. The « Innovative SME Award » in the field of Nutrition and Health
This category is open to all European companies operating in the field of Nutrition and Health having less than 250 employees and innovating notably through specific innovative actions or projects in the Nutrition and Health sector.
III. The « Scientific Poster Award » in the field of Nutrition and Health
3 posters in three different categories open to researchers of the academic sector. These posters have to present research work carried out recently and must not have been presented at other congresses before NutrEvent. The posters will have to deal with one of NutrEvent themes:
- Gut health and immune system
- Cardiometabolic diseases and weight management
- Marketing and Consumer Behaviour
Rewarding both Academia & Industry!
The NutriAwards are perfectly modeled after NutrEvent, integrating Industry and Academia through the creation of Prizes dedicated to both spheres:
- The First two Awards (“Start-up Awards”) and (“Innovative SME Award”) are dedicated to promote Industry. They offer to the best projects a personnalized prize: Seventure Partners Life Sciences will offer them consultancy and mentoring services for the two-year support of the projects for an estimated value of 30K€.

In Life Sciences, Seventure Partners is more than a financial investor. Seventure Partners will have no right nor any financial return on the company’s performance and benefits.
Seventure ensures the award winners of their strong commitment and full support to the company & project success.
Seventure’s deep knowledge of the Life Science Industry, their vision and entrepreneurial mind-set as well as their wide network all over Europe will be provided to award winners through individualized consultancy and mentoring services.
They will also make available to award winners one special meeting room in Paris within the office of Seventure, whenever they need to welcome clients and suppliers in France.

- The “Scientific Poster Award” aims at highlighting the best posters created by Academic researchers.
A panel from posters selected by a Jury will be exhibited during NutrEvent 2011. Then, the three best ones will be offered a dedicated time for an oral presentation during the event.
Terms of competition
The competition is open from 29th March 2011 to 23th May 2011 for the First two Awards (“Start-up Awards”) and (“Innovative SME Award”) and until 8th June 2011 for the “Scientific Poster Award”
