Betty attained her PhD in psychology from the University of New South Wales (Sydney) in 2008, whereupon she moved to Europe to conduct research in the areas of emotional psychology, health psychology, and consumer science. After being in academia for 13 years, Betty worked on European projects at GfK before joining EUFIC in 2019. She is currently working on projects about short food supply chains and the communication of personalised nutrition advice. Betty is also interested in behaviour change and all things food-related.
