Matthieu Flourakis is Scientitic Unit Coordinator at ILSI Europe. After graduating from Université de Lille with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Matt was a research associate in neuroscience at Northwestern University in Chicago were he discovered a new mechanism controlling sleep wake cycles in mammals. In 2019, he joined ILSI Europe were he managed projects related to food safety and Nutrition and was also involved in many EU funded project as WP lead. Since 2021, as a Unit Coordinator he is managing the team of project manager, and ensures that ILSI Europe delivers science with the highest credibility.
